Has anyone heard of bizify.co.uk

Hi all

I had a phone call from a directory company called bizify.co.uk. Website is good and they're offering cheapish deals to target local keywords with their directory pages. Works in a very similar way to Yell.com but cheaper. For instance, if you search 'Printers' and 'Hornchurch' you'll see one of their listings appear.

The lack of internet/forum hits about them suggests that they're a fairly new operation. I've got no plans to go ahead with them but I thought I'd post here and see if anyone has heard anything good/bad about them.

No, I haven't used them, what are their stats? Did they show you anything like the viewer's count or anything special they may have?

Just examples of keyword/location pairs that they'd optimsed pages for to get bizfy listings ranking well. Other than that no stats.

I haven't heard of them, but having had a look the data is very old.

Just searching for 'Woolworths' - the results would imply the data is at best 6-7 years out of date.

I stumbled across this as it is my business that has been demonstrated by Bizify when typing in 'Printers Hornchurch'. I have had dealings with Bizify for 3 years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. I paid a small amount to be listed on Bizify which instantly ranked well on Google and i quickly got inquiries from this, I then went on to find out Bizify is an online directory created by Espresso Web - they build websites and offer marketing services. I have since had my website built by them, had my optimization done by them and they also help with my social media - I have nothing but positive things to say about these services too, my website now works better than ever. I deal with a person call Greg at Bizify/Espresso Web, I have found they are different to other companies I have used as they really seem to care about the results I get. I too have had really bad experiences with online directories in the past - dealing with Bizify has been quite the opposite from my previous bad experiences.

IMO this business directory looks very poor. The site structure is awful - I can't see category or location pages at all. Even a simple breadcrumb is missing. Comparing this directory to Yell is like comparing a shopping trolley to a Ferrarri

Apart from the very strange first post praising the company, if you think they have don't a good job of optimising the site it might be worth doing some research on iffy SEO practices.

Bizify is an unimportant ten a penny directory.

I took out an advert with this company 6 months ago. It was not a huge outlay and as I do not have big budgets for marketing, seemed a good idea.

I am now getting found on Google front page for several terms, I want my customers to find me for happy days!

Yell were quoting me mega money compared to this company to be fair.
