Hi Guys,

I'm in the planning process of opening my new health club, and was wondering what management software is available out there?

Moreover, has any one had any good / bad experiences with a given provider?

Hello Tony, there is a large spread in terms of the functionality of gym management software, which is reflected in the different pricing packages.

It would be helpful if you could say a little more about your new club, such as the number of members and whether your club has premises and what your relationship is with the premises (do you own them, are you buying a slot, etc.).

I had a custom made software, no famous one but quite effective. It depends on the size of your business, functions you want, needs to be an easy to use one, so a bit more info on your expectations would be useful.

Some years ago I was the local technical lead for the roll-out of software and systems for a city leisure centre. The product used was Clarity - https://www.clarityliveleisure.co.uk/

Clarity now offer a range of packages for smaller leisure operations and they may be well worth a look. The software is well though through and very useable.

So, the gym is in the pre sign-up phase, so far we have just over 250 members already joined.

I'm looking for a provider that offers club software and payment collection as a integrated package. I don't have time to chase up people not adhering to their contracts, so the membership management angle of the service is important.

Can anyone advise?
