I used to be on the front page of Fiverr as a copywriter. How many orders a week are you getting at the moment? It all comes down to pleasing the algorithm. The more happy customers you've got, and the more money you're making Fiverr, the more likely you are to be shown first. The newer algorithm also takes into account your response time and rate if I recall correctly.

A good way to make some extra income is to make deals with other sellers. For example I discovered a load of parchment paper in my house that seemed a shame to throw away. I struck a deal with a seller who was writing Christmas letters as a gig. He made a gig extra for £10 to upgrade to a real parchment-style letter and then he'd order a gig from me for £5 where I'd print and post the letter for him.

If you specialize in men's fashion, consider working with one of Fiverr's many life coaches. It doesn't have to be your main gig, but it's all sales that help you bump up your position.

Fiver is a great place for freelancers. In addition to the above advice, consider starting your pricing low for your basic gig, this will help you ramp up a lot of sales quickly which will drive you to the top of the algorithm. Once at the top/front page , you can start to increase your prices according to your “orders in que”

I grew a startup from nothing to six figures with a small inhouse team, pre-dominantly using Fiverr, so did Dragons Den Steven Bartlett and many others. Today Fiverr is worth 5-7Billion and their graph is only going one way, up. You do not get to that valuation on duck soup! Anyone starting and looking to get good value freelancers, Fiverr is your answer. Like any platform, a few may have not had the success they anticipated, but lets not demean its cause. It democratises services previously only afforded by a few giant companies while empowering creators, and that cannot be more in line with the whole essence of the internet! Its revolutionary, and the old dogs hate it for its disruption and democratisation!

Nobody who knows anything about marketing is on Fiverr, and nobody you would want as a client is looking on Fiverr.

One of the basic rules when looking for any advice is ''be very weary of anyone who uses collective absolute entities like ''nobody'', ''anything'', ''everything'', these are entities often used to express factual emptiness.

And why are these talented marketers on Fiverr?

My use of collective absolute entities was deliberate. To be more 'fluffy', would have not made the appropriate point.
