Hi Junior, welcome to the forums. Interesting idea but I have one for you.
Instead of me paying three pounds to you - you pay me to correct the copy on your website.

Junior, Mac's right - if you want to earn money through your website it has to be right. It's important that you present a professional image if you want to be taken seriously and that includes the quality of the whole site. On this forum you'll find that the critics tell it like it is.

I was telling you that you spelt something wrong. You disagreed, I showed you.

Is that evil? You came here asking for feedback. I told you that there was a spelling mistake on your website.

Junior, what I don't get is how any of us have any guarantee that you'll send money back our way...? You could just run off with £3 of our hard earned cash!

ok, im sorry mac, im just fusrated, can someone pleaseeeeeeee, i mean 'please' give me some advice, and urban space y would i run off with just a measly £3 when i can make 100's of pounds

I could have a look over your site if you'd like? Re-write it to make it sound more professional? For a fee of course :D! I did exactly the same to Darren's site and he was very impressed :lol:

And make sure you don't take their criticisms to heart like I did :lol: Don't threaten to storm off the site and then blame it on hormones!

Hi,

I've had a look...It's a very plain site and the bit about not trusting you at the top, makes me not trust at all.

You know what they say, never trust someone who says trust me...I think you should re-think the text. It really sounds like a scam..sorry, but that my honest none techy opinion. I'm sure it's not a scam, but it reads that way.

Get a proper domain instead of a Freewebs extension! And try looking into other methods of payment other than PayPal. Not everyone can use PayPal!

Yep, the counter, "website built and hosted for free...." and general lack of proper domain name don't help with your credibility. Everyone has a budget, so look toward what you would consider the most important issue: design or content.

There's loads on here who would help you, tell us a bit more about yourself in the introduction and people can get to know you better. Once they see you are ok, they will help :D

I think you'll find that what you're doing is actually illegal. It's known as soliciting money, which is tantamount to begging. You are asking for money, but not providing anything in return. Certainly you may respond that you're giving them 3 pounds, but that's not exactly correct, is it?

Knew something wasn't quite right! And what makes it worse, if someone did want to participate they can't! When you click on the paypal link on your site, you get

'Sorry, this FreeWebs account is still provisional and forms are not permitted. Freewebs accounts are provisional for the first 7 days'

Now what does that tell us? You've not even been in business for a week, you're breaking the law and you're using FreeWebs as a platform to launch your own success, which, is against FreeWebs Terms and Conditions.

Busted!
