Hi everyone, I just wanted to get some clarity regarding the new criteria for the self employed grant.

I started self employment in feb 2020, I was employed prior to this on PAYE. I submitted my 2019/20 tax return but of course the majority of money I have earned is through PAYE as I only began self employment in feb and this tax return showed my income only up to april. However I have been trading since then and will do so in the future. Does anyone know if I will be eligible for the grant with the new criteria?

I have just looked more into in (ie I asked my accountant) and it's not the covid year, but the year before, when I was PAYE through my ltd co for 8 months. So looks like I'm going to fail on the 50/50 rule. Good job I'm used to having to take care of myself with no help from anyone anyway. :-/
