Bit of help please, been using Analytics for years now and never had an issue but just added a new site, all different but got the general jist, added the code and realtime was tracking etc, all be it a little slow but seemed to be working. Just logged in and it says this 'This property has no views. Click here to create new views or delete this property.' Then looks like i need to set it all up again. Where am I going wrong with this nonsense? Tempted to chop a code foran old site and use that

Can't help - only sympathise.

Like you, I used the 'old' analytics for years and been quite happy and familiar with it.

On a new site I tried the new version of analytics. Can't get to grips with it at all - especially 'conversion events' Aaaargh.

If you're an agency or a multinational the new analytics is probably an improvement, but for mere mortals it's a bit of a nightmare. I've switched to Bing Webmaster Tools.

Google Analytics is changing and it is a bit confusing. I think you are using the new Google Analytics 4? In the case of GA4, the analysis is not done through "View" but through "Data Stream", although Google offers the possibility of creating two "Properties" one in UA format with Views and another in GA4 format with Data Stream.

Switch to clicky. Far superior to GA in just about every way.

Just sympathy and agreement from here - I *hate* how Google keep changing everything for no good reason. Look at all the projects they've killed off here: https://killedbygoogle.com/

I've been a shareholder in Google since about 2006 and still am, but I have to say it feels like they've gone from a nice friendly company to a big evil one.

    Paul.
