Im looking into getting some help with adwords, setting it all up again for me. Teaching me what I need to do. Is it better to look locally for this or is there no difference really?

Can anyone estimate on the kind of costs involved?

Would agree that you need an adwords consultant otherwise you could be spending £000s for no return- in the mean time think about the naturals.

Hopefully you are already aware of this, so this is just for insurance; - Using Google adwords or any pay per click advertising needs to form part of a SEO strategy which includes making good use of keywords, site maps, strong links to other web sites with a high page ranking. I would generally recommend using pay per click advertising as a later part of your strategy. I hope this helps.

I don't agree with that at all ... anymore than I'd suggest that direct mail needs to form part of a newspaper advertising strategy.

PPC and SEO are two very different animals and neither of them needs the other.

I know people who can set up the campaign for you (e.g. me).

However, "teaching you what you need to do" is another matter entirely. Are you looking for an adwords coach?

I've never thought of offering such a service, but I reckon I'd charge more for that than I would for management.

I thought that using PPC would be your initial strategy whilst you wait for the organic seo to kick in - which we all know takes a while.

Once you have the organic seo running well then you could use PPC campaign manager for the keywords that you are weaker on with organic seo.

I agree that Pay Per Click compaigns and general Search Engine Optimisation are different. However I do stand by what I said during my previous post. I will create a number of web pages on my web site over the coming weeks which communicate SEO as I see it. I will appreciate any comments or indeed value any constructive
criticism.
