golf club/course emails

I am after a mailing list for golf clubs, I can hand pick email addresses off the internet but it takes forever as there are over 5000 courses in the UK, does anyone know where i can get a golf list from?

Is there not an association. You can get cheap software tht will down load email addresses from their web site if there is though I don't know how ethical that is.

You might also want to try Kelly Search - Yellow Pages & The Post office. They all offer data bases and you are not talking a lot of money. Typical rates are around £100 per 1000.

Is this to promote the "pencilpal"?

Try Golf Monthly!

How about getting in touch with the travel agents that specialise in Golf Holidays?

Bill Golf. etc.

they could be persuaded to have some of these with their Company Logo.. and distribute to their clients along with the tickets/travel packs etc... would have thought that to be a nice touch... good promo material.

just my 2 cents

These can't cost more than a few pence to produce. Wouldn't you be better off sending off a sample to the golf club pro shops - offering a discount and going wholesale.

If each shop were to buy say 10 your talking 50,000 units and probably every 3 months. If you make £1.50 net that is over £300,000 a year net profit. Not bad for a little bit of plastic.

thanks for those responses, they cost a bit more than pennies, if you send a sample to say 2500 golf clubs it would cost over £1250 just to post them, plus time, plus the cost of each Pencilpal, thats why it would be best to contact them all and if they are interested in the product to send them a sample. I may try golf holiday businesses but as always its hard to get in with them.

I think we could get to your target market through the magazine, we were going to get your advert in on our launch but were swamped with companies from wales in which we had to give preference to, pm me if interested.
