Does anyone know if it is possible that I can run the Gmail app that you can get on Android on a Windows PC. I'm currently wanting to use Gmail on desktop but have the multi-account feature available (which seems to be somewhat difficult to achieve in Gmail's web interface).

Similarly, if anyone can advise of a better Gmail desktop app than Pokki's GMail or GMDesk (which seems unsupported/undeveloped now), then please let me know.

I'm sick of wasting copious amounts of hours with email clients now, it's really starting to pee me off so I'm biting the bullet and just trying to fully use Gmail, but ideally not in the browser.

Thanks in advance.

I use the Gmail web interface, but just have multiple tabs open for the separate inboxes (so If I click on my account pic in the top right I can see my delegated inboxes). It's not ideal either. I guess Google are making it as hard as possible to do anything else. Let me know if you find anything

I use multiple accounts all the time with the tabs thing and find it fine.. there are still kinks but its getting better all the time

From one inbox - click your account picture on the top right, click add account

Then log in as normal to the desired account

You're now running two accounts and it works fine

You'll notice the URL for the various tabs is like:

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2

etc

If you really just want one tab - you could just manually edit this URL, or bookmark them maybe

I just run the tabs for them all.. got plenty of RAM so no big deal
