Wouldn't it be better to ask the question on gaming forums. While some members if UKBF are gamers the majority aren't.

I can tell that people frequenting gaming platforms are gamers. Have you asked the question on these forums? Have you posed the question on the Netflix forums as those are people who already use the subscription model?

As an aside - I play a lot of games and unless you have the current releases for my platform in the inventory I wouldn't be interested. Will you for example be streaming Halo5?

I am on gaming forums also but I know there are a alot more gamers out there who don't use gaming forums. THe subscription based system works and we will be hosting comps also in the near future. At the moment you have to download the games you want to play onto your pc, tablet etc.

But what about all the dedicated gaming platforms? Most of the premium games won't run on a PC/laptop. In any case, Steam, BigFishGames and many others already do downloads and streaming.

This is the only subscription based gaming platform that has thousands of games to choose from, some admitedly are not that good but we are having new releases every week, and will have the latest releases same day, try before you buy then at a discounted rate. It will also offer the chance for gamers to earn money from it. Steam is a free service to join but you have to pay for each individual game you buy. We offer a monthly fee to play thousands of games free.

That didn't answer my question. Will you be listing games for non PC platforms such as the Xbox?

My main comment (based on 20 years working in the games industry) is that the publishers of the big games don't want them being rented out. They want to sell the game for a big one off cost to recoup their investment. They also want to be charging for downloadable content. That makes it hard to get the big headline games that will attract users.

We are not concentrating on the same day releases at tge moment, games will be on there a while after they have been released. Think of it as netflix for games. We will however as popularity grows be able to offer tge latest releases at a discounted price. We will be able to do this because of no physical discs are sold it will be all digital.

It's not netflix for games. It will never be netflix for games. Netflix allows me to watch the latest series and films. Momentis allows me to play second rate games. You will not ever be able to stream the latest releases - you won't get the licenses.

I know you are an advocate of the Momentis thing but it's just never going to deliver on its promises. It's just a digital Amway.

wouldn't mind it being likened to a digital Amway when they are worth $11 billion. Never say never!

I think they no longer operate MLM though do they? But built a massive business from MLM. And *alot* of legal action and questionable practices, FTC, DTI etc. etc.

For this to work the 'product' has to be top quality, unless the 'new' games are top quality and I cannot see anyone subscribing. Sure you have to pay on Steam but there is alot of really good content.

I'm confused, first you say rent then try before you buy? We can try DEMO's for nothing on xbox live. We can even buy the games direct form xbox live, with no discs... I bought FIFA at xmas, took a while to download but i didn't even have to leave the house.

I think there was a time where people were into renting games for the top consoles, but this was more popular before online play got so big.

I used to knock about with kids who would buy a game for cash, play it to death and take it back to the supermarket and somehow get all of their money back. Once you've killed most games it's not enjoyable to replay the story line over and over.

Now people don't so much buy games for the main content, they buy them to compete with other humans instead of dull AI, which means people are more inclined to want to buy a game and keep it so that they have access to go online.

Please bare with us, we know that most if not all of the games are for mobile application at the moment, but will be getting newer games in about 10 days time.
No, all you will be getting is another tranche of low quality games similar to the thousands already available on app stores and the many other gaming websites.

The only way this is going to work is if you get the licence to download console games. But the changes of that happening are virtually nil.
