What are your top 3 free online directory sites?

Did you manually add your details, did you use some kind of automated software to do it or did you outsource the work?

Yeah I also vouch for freeindex, had a few enquiries come through people linking from them, and notice quite a few hits per week coming from their site..

I don't really have a top 3 as such, loads of different sites have around the same success.

I outsource the job of manual directory submissions, for a very good rate they submitted my sites to over 1000 directories.

Hi Chaps,

Its outsourced to where else but India I don't want to give precise details of who, because I want to offer it as a service myself soon!

Offered are different packages consisting of 100 (£7), 300 (£20), 500 (£35), 800 (£55) and 1000 (£70) submissions.

You have to give a list of keywords and categories (plus description, link or deeplink etc) that you wish to use, and all is listed in a final report so that you can go check yourself afterwards.

It normally takes about a week, min I've had it done was 3 days, most was 12 days and I've sent over 30 sites so far for them to do. So far so good really.

Yep, but I don't know the max number they do, but I could confirm that with them... I mean I doubt they will do 5-10 different titles etc on a 100 submission package.

But yes it can be split.. say 500 directories for submitting too, and 5 different titles/descriptions etc - it would be just the same as ordering 5 different 100 submission packages so no great hassle.

Obviously if you wanted a large number of different descriptions and keywords that would add to the bulk of work required and may charge accordingly.

Dear Matt,

Our hourly rates starts from 7 USD per hour. And it takes roughly 300 USD for 1000 directories (@ 20 to 25 directories in an hour). We charge for number of hours we dedicate towards this work.

As I have a team it's possible to accomplish 1000 directories within a day also.

Whatever title and description you give us we rotate it accordingly.
