Hello, i have no idea where to start here, i am looking to purchase computer parts including peripheral devices and other electronics, everywhere i look online asks you to pay a membership to reveal details of suppliers which have little or no information about them, i am just wondering where do i look? Is there a directory somewhere, how do i find suitable reputable suppliers?

Thanks
Chris

Computer parts, peripheral devices and other electronics - sound liek more than one supplier? What exactly are you looking to buy?

Try oemworld to start with......retail website, but email them with quantities and what you need and they offer bulk/trade discounts......

Hope that helps!

Id mainly be looking at all computer parts, anti virus software, Operating system software as that would include around 80% of what my business is, but then i suppose i can sell keyboards, mice, printers etc. Or at least supply an option to order them even if i do not hold them in stock. Looking at this website briefly i can see the choice of stock is incredibly limited? Will most suppliers be like this with me having to set up accounts with multiple businesses?

Many thanks

I have to say that the oemworld.net website is VERY new, they trade with trade buyers, and started out on ebay - have a look on ebay as they are moving to their own website, but I have noticed that it is slowly taking shape....drop them an email, tell them what you want and what quantities you are looking at - they have software, memory, processors, fans, cpus', cases, full systems, custom built systems etc, so it is worth doing the email!

Looks good, do you have an E-mail address as all i can find is the office address, also where did you find out about this company?

Its ok, this works out quite well for me as i am based next to doncaster and get to barnsley in 20 mins via car or 40 via public transport, I will e-mail them for sure. One last question, is stock in the channel worth signing up to?

Many thanks

Stock in the channel? Not sure what that is!
Yes, email them as they operate online only I believe, and their registered address is just that, they don't hold stock etc there.

Oh i see, there dropshippers, stock in the channel seems to be like a comparison website of suppliers sort of like confuzed.com is for car insurance although you have to pay to use stock in the channel, is it worth using these type of sites or just finding suppliers yourself?

Thanks
