Hi I'm new to this forum

I'm researching leases and costs in general for a cafe or takeaway. I have looked websites selling businesses but I want to analyse costs of leases in general. So my query is where is the best place to find possible leases, which websites should I be looking at?

Thanks in advance

Doesn’t work like that. Every lease is different, there is no repository. Same as the costs, every business will be different.

However, welcome to UKBF @Absyk. There are plenty of members here who can help and advise if you provide a bit more information about the sort of cafe you want to buy.

If you’re looking to compare and take over an existing lease for a cafe or takeaway, costs will depend on many factors including the following.

    Current rent
    Next rent review
    Length & terms of lease
    Goodwill
    Condition of premises
    Appliances included
Cost to get up to your standard
    Existing business profitability
    Location
    Location
    Location

And the list goes on and on…

If your research is for you to take over an existing business, location is key.

If however, you’re just comparing costs for another reason, contact agents or use google, which will come up with numerous agents as well as sites offering F&B businesses for sale, for example Daltons.
