I am going to create a business page for 3 businesses, all unrelated. Is it better to create 3 personal pages and link each business page or should i just add them from my own personal facebook page?

I'm tending to think I'd prefer the first option as this will prevent me from inadvertantly mixing up the 3, and i can then like or comment on other pages as my business id.

Any opinions please

This. Facebook automatically posts on the pages using the page name - not your real name.
Ah i didnt know that!

I would rather create another personal account for the business purposes not to mix personal one with business. Then you can create these pages and no one will suspect that it is your job
Ok i hadnt thought of that way!!

so if i create a personal page called fred bloggs, and then have business1 page, business2 page and business3 page. whilst logged in as fred bloggs i could comment on another business page as business1?

Create your 3 pages - make Fred Bloggs an admin for each page. When you are using Facebook as Fred Bloggs, you can see the pages you admin for listed and easily click between them. Any posts you make as the admin of the page will show as the business, not you personally.

Facebook mmm...

From the 1st Oct you have to have a HTTPS for your fanpage, thats everyone, for everypage... so think about the cost first!

Best way is to get a FB WP builder  who can build and update the pages, keep the control in one place, with one admin and ONLY use a real account, FB is clearing the crap, just like G did so do it right and make sure if you outsource to "FB experts" they change the "friends admin" access once they are done, or they may get deleted and your "new FB pages" will go with them
