Facebook Appointment Booking?

Does this actually work or is it one of those things that worked in the US then was removed and now is just a memory with a 'how to' page which does not reflect reality?

Or more importantly, will your clients want to use FB to harvest their appointment data?

There's a lot of diary and booking options out there; a lot of people I deal with seem to use Calendly but personally I'd look at what you use day to day in your business and using something already embedded in that.
If you use Google Apps then use their tool or if you use Microsoft365 use theirs, or look at options that plug into your website directly.

Having reviewed the help documentation, it appears to still be functional. Is there a reason why you wish to use Facebook Appointment and not an alternative?

Thanks but it's not working despite numerous tutorials etc. Not sure what the issue is and, yes, the schedule via FB is there for people who insist on using FB so just another way to make things convenient.

Or more importantly, will your clients want to use FB to harvest their appointment data?

Good point but anyone on FB is already having their stuff harvested at rates faster than Bozo's rocket ship to Mars.

I'd probably avoid relying on facebook for something this important, there's plenty of software out there that's specifically designed for this.

    Paul.

Thanks, both. I'm using calendly on the website for booking but didn't want to integrate this on FB, assuming this can even be done due to data harvesting etc, but wanted to accommodate FB users, specifically. I wouldn't use any social media, if it were up to me due to data breaches, censorship etc but my preferences aren't everyone else's. Since I can't figure it out, I've just re-routed everything to the website.
