Hello how is it. When you see Alan sugar, Peter Jones or anyone in business who has a high tv profile, everything in business they touch seem to make millions.?

Read up on them and you'll realise they've been through the highs and LOWs!

They invest in a lot of companies and they have some failures too. Of course these are not publicised. You only hear about the sucesses. Don't forget that once a person has millions it's easy to invest in other businesses. They make it look good but not everything in which they invest turns to gold.

You don't see any Amstrad products in the shops these days.

More attracts more, once you make that break through and get a well known 'brand name', then people come looking to invest with you......its the same in all walks of life.

Right place, right time, certain amount of luck and charm, taking a chance aggressiveness the whole package really.

I bet they have all had really rought times though, people always look at successful people and think everyting drops nicely into their laps, they had to go out there and make it happen in the beginning though.

It was their money. What is it sugar always boasts "my parents had nuffink , i started with nuffink" or words to that effect.

Yeah, you only hear about the good stuff.

All of these people have had big fails. Some are open about it, others not.

Felix Dennis expressed in his book how one single decision of his cost his company something like $20 million.

They are risk takers - that is WHY they so easily gain millions and lose millions.

Anyhow, stop your knocking UK business people who actually employ people, unless you employ more and make more for the UK economy!
