Emails

1) Don't spam
2) Use a reliable Email Service Provider who are experts in 'inboxing'
3) Don't spam
4) Make sure you DNS entries are set up so as to maximize trust (think DKIM/domainkeys/SPF/reverse lookup)

I dont ever spam, probably send out about 10-15 emails a day which are all usually requests for quote's.

How do i set up DNS to maximize trust?

Some great tutorials on Google for setting up:
DKIM
Domainkeys
SPF
Reverse Lookup

I'd recommend searching for "how to" and then each one of those, read up and get some background knowledge on them.

If you're not using something like Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp, Lyris, or similar, then consider them. You're rate of inboxing will improve.

I have just been in touch with my hosting company and they have advised that i switch to my ISP's SMTP server or have a dedicated IP address. Switching to my ISP's SMTP server is not an option as i use my laptop both at work and home.

Would having a dedicated IP address resolve the problem? It only costs £5 per month and if it is easy to setup it would be a good option for me.

That may be an option if your ISP allows authenticated sending of email from anywhere. Many ISPs do, so worth checking.

If having a dedicated ip address would resolve this problem then it will be a better option for me as i have had problems before with my emails being blocked.
So would having a dedicated ip address resolve this problem?
