Emails Going To Junk Problem

Hi Guys

In my business people are buying a service from me.
Once purchased I need to email the customer a form that needs to be filled in before we can proceed.
Im having a real problem with my emails going to junk .
This means the customer is not recieving my form and the whole process becomes a struggle from there.

Im currently using a few tools to automate things,
namely pipedrive / zapier

Just wondering if anyone can think of a good way to solve my problem.

I try to prompt people to download the form on the thank you page but not all people do this.

Any advice most welcome

Fix your systems. Make sure you have SPF and DKIM enabled, you are using a decent email processor, the email is properly formatted and you aren't on any blacklists.

And put the form on the website. Having to download and fill in a form it just daft.

Hi Mike

Thanks for the reply , the emails are sent automatically via zapier.
I have a feeling this may not be helping and that is what I was fishing for.
Just wondering if there was a solid platform that I could send them from via a trigger in zapier rather than using the zapier mail connection .

Hope that makes sense

Which is where problem probably begins.

Like I said, put the form on the site before they even get to checkout and the problem goes away.

I have found a service called sendgrid . This is a transactional email sending service.
If zapier was to fire the emails via this service would I still have to do something with the DKIM and SPF or would this be taken care of by sendgrid ?

Anybody know ?

I was about to suggest something like SendGrid or Mailgun as it's quite possible Zapier aren't following best practices or have a poor network reputation. Yes you will need to configure DKIM/SPF records again - this is for your benefit because without those records there's an increased chance of your messages being marked as spam. The advantage of these companies is that they specialise in sending transactional emails and proactively look after their network reputation.

That said, I would still consider your message content and the file format of the form as both can have an effect on how spam filters score your message.

That is a fix for your email problem.
And also fisicx's suggestion about DKIM and SPF which I know you glossed over because they sound complex and fair enough they're not straight forward but I'm sure fisicx or someone else on the forum here would be able to do this for you, probably charging an hour of time or similar.
