Hey all,

Are there any free email marketing services out there?

I am just starting to venture down the route of email marketing and i am very interested in seeing how it would perform.

Thanks in advance

What sort of response rates can you expect as I am also looking to incorporate a email marketing strategy as well

Much in the same way as your leaflet distribution, it'll be down to what you're saying, how you're saying it, who you deliver to and how reliable your delivery method is.

It'll depend also whether you're aiming at previous/current customers or new targets - and then the latter depends on the quality of the data - and whether you're expecting it be a one hit wonder or an orchestrated campaign.

Suffice to say, there's lots to do to get it right. Doing it yourself isn't always the best way.

If I can help in anyway, let me know.

    Regards

    Mike

    Hi all,

What I see on this thread is very interesting, and you may be able to assist. To echo what someone has already put on here I simply do not have the time to go through the process of putting an email campaign together.

I work in manufacturing as the UK Sales Manager. Traditionally my sector are not so hot on marketing, although they are getting better. I am now also charged with marketing for next year and have been given a small budget to assist and experiment with. I need to make this count in order to show positive results, and therefor have a bigger budget the year after.

My initial thoughts are to compile a quarterly news letter for our UK based customers which will drive people to our website, or call our office, raise our profile, give updates on new/existing products, and give us an edge over the competition.

We have a very low number of people working directly for my company here in the UK as we work with distributors who resell our products and services, but I am keen to be more proactive in order to increase sales, leads, etc for us all.

I can not post links to URLs as I have not posted enough on here but to give you a flavour of companies operating in my sector you can search for Wika Instruments, Stewarts Gauges and BKW Instruments.

If anyone can advise or offer assistance it would be appreciated. I work away from home a lot including this week but I am prepared to travel and meet with relevant people in order to explore possibilities if we can be of use to each other.
