elearning course creation software/platforms advice

Afternoon All,

I'm looking for some pointers on which platform and/or software would be best suited to creating an elearning course for my industry, I have created it already on power point (some years ago) and would like to after updating it, launch it and hopefully in the fullness of time have it make some money. The course is very basic in its content and fulfills a compliance need for my industry. Can anyone suggest a software or internet based platform that can be utilised to create a course from scratch by someone who is not an IT/computer expert. Can anyone share their own experience of learning to use such tools from scratch and how successfully the end result was?

If you google for courses similar to yours you will see where you can create/submit a new course.
