Does anyone know of any free software that can be used to edit and re save pdf files?

If you log I as a member/customer at Adobe, you can download the entire CS2 package, which will give you an older version of Adobe Acrobat Pro and InDesign, as well as useful stuff like Photoshop.

@The Byre - that's a great tip, thanks! I wasn't aware of that. I ended up signing up for Adobe's free monthly trial for the full editable version of the software when I had a load of PDF docs I needed to work on (my trial has now expired and I was wondered what to try next...).

Canva definitely has my vote for creating PDF docs from scratch, Ruvini I also use smallpdf a lot to merge documents
