Editing a read only PDF?

S

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to edit a PDF. I had a few leaflets done but the company I used have gone bust.

I want to change the leaflets slightly but rather than pay to have a few words changed I was wondering if there was a way to edit the read only file.

I am sure you can, but advice would be great.

Thanks

Same with OPenOffice - save as PDF is built into the toolbar.

And it also means you don't have to pay of MS Office.

Not sure about that, I don't think so but then it should not be an issue if it is your own document.

What I do is just select the text in the PDF, copy it and paste it into the Word document. You may have to make some minor changes like adding line breaks, etc. but it is perfectly adequate for occasional use on small documents.

If you have to do lots of PDF editing on larger, more complex documents it would probably be worth paying for the right software.

In my experience your biggest problem, if the file was created by someone else will be matching the fonts.
