Hi,
We are currently developing an online ordering system for our business partners, but have come across the distance selling/cooling off period problem which in our industry (telecoms) could seriously delay orders being placed - not good!
I have found a company which claims to offer a legitimate way to receive customer signatures without needing to print, sign then fax or scan then email.
The company is EchoSign http://www.echosign.com/ and have large companies testifying to its brilliance, e.g. BT, Cisco, Salesforce.
What I need to know and am having trouble finding out is whether or not these signatures will stand up in a court of law? We need something that is legally binding, and don't want to risk implementing this procedure if it counts for nothing!
Any advice much appreciated! Thanks!
