Easiest Payroll Online Software

C

Christiane

Hi
I'm looking into doing my own payroll and wanted some opinions on which software is best to do all that is involved in payroll inc payslips, P60 etc.
I'd rather have an online software as I sometime work from home and it would be easier if I can access it from anywhere.
There is only me and 1 employee.
It needs to be as user friendly as possible for a numpty
Thanks
Chris

I am not sure about online software, but Moneysoft is very easy to use.

However, are you sure you want to do this? As long as there are no issues, it is pretty straightforward, but if things start to go wrong, it can be a nightmare.

If you do want to look at having it done for you, drop me a PM and I can run through what we offer as a payroll service.

I'll second that - it's very good software and works well. My firm uses it for our own and clients payroll.

Moneysoft is a software I'd have to download either at home or at work, not as flexible as online. I won't always be at work on a Friday to do it unless I can automate it somehow? What happens if my PC goes kaput? Can I download again, is the info lost?

It is a software package on the hard drive, so you would have to ensure that you had backups of all data. Having said that, you should always make sure that you have backups of all data. Preferably kept somewhere else, so you can recover in the event of a fire!

I have used Moneysoft for many years. I have it installed on 2 computers so that I can use it when I am away from the office. You just need to enter the licence code to make it available. You need to make backups each time you run a payroll and have a copy of the backup either on a usb stick or on a cloud backup (dropbox, Skydrive etc) to make it available for the other computer and in case of disaster.

Hi, the vendors mentioned already here are good. If you're determined to go online then you might like Sage One Payroll. 30 day free trial and costs as little as £5 p/month. Free 24/7 UK based telephone support as well should you want someone to walk you through how to do setup and your first pay run.

    Good luck in your search.
