Can anyone help with UK suppliers for dropshipping - currently using autods and having success via some of their UK suppliers however the Chinese ones we have little to no traction and i think this is due to the delivery times - Our pricing is competative

Thanks

I've seen that pop up on facebook ads a few times - do they all ship from China? What's the usual delivery time?
I've had a couple of orders. All came from China within a few days, faster than I was told at checkout. The order tracking was good.

Just be careful what you buy. A lot of it looks like the usual tat. There are some interesting Temu tool reviews on YouTube and some stuff, however, seems surprisingly good.

How can they deliver that fast from China? Surely they have UK / Europe warehouses for that?

    From Temu, about a week!

If you are paying silly prices (for mostly junk, but junk I like!) 7-10 days is an OK wait. Prime has made next delivery more 'normal', so, for many, waiting longer is just not acceptable!

Most of the stuff on there is small and under 20kg. You can get it from East Asia into the UK via EMS within 4-5 days. On the other hand, you'll be potentially hit with VAT, customs and processing charges on arrival - but I'll bet, if your order is under £100 or so, ParcelForce (who process EMS) just ignore it for customs purposes. There are potential delays once they're in the UK IF customs decide to detain it for customs processing, since C&E are useless.

The Chinese government heavily subsidises EMS shipping, so you can get tat from China to the UK cheaper than you can get toilet roll from Birmingham to London.

So it's not a level playing field in any case. But if something goes wrong, then you might have an issue.

It is Evri, not Parcelforce, who delivered (to me).

I've not used Temu but AliExpress now charges VAT upfront so avoids custom charges...never had anything from China via ParcelForce...usually either Royal Mail or Evri that deliver.
