Hello

Can I continue to use my old business domain name which was ‘xxxxltd.co.uk’ even though my business xxxxltd is in liquidation?

The name xxxxltd.co.uk is on my company vehicles and elsewhere and I was wondering if I am breaking any rules or laws by continuing to use the name xxxxltd.co.uk

Thank you

What about if the domain is actually the property of the LTD
Good point, if the company paid for the domain name you can’t use it anymore.

I’d still be wary of anything that suggests you are still limited. To be on the safe side go get a new domain name.

Are you planning to continue as a sole trader? You cannot call yourself limited when you are not.

Would it be an allowable option for the old domain name to redirect to a new one?
Maybe. But the van, signage, documents and clothing would all need to show the new url.
