This is why I say the parcel reseller idea is a seriously flawed business planThe main cause of this was the rates being offered. Parcel Force increased the rates at the start of January and did away with the 30kg parcel rate. We offer Parcel Force and previously had a really low rate, now they have increased.
If you send a parcel on an overnite service, you have very little control over it either.
If you use an overnite service, you will have little to no contact with the depot carrying out the delivery and it may take them a while to answer you, you get what you pay for. If you want control of the parcel from start to finish, someone like Jeremy Hawke is your best bet, on a same day service. But when it goes wrong, I don't want to talk or email you, I want to actually speak to someone at the carrier.

Not sure what your point is exactly. If you are able to speak to the people doing the delivery, where is the issue?I've not found that to be the case with APC, DHL or DPD. UPS, yes, since their customer service is based outside the UK.

We have customers calling the carriers every day, the only time that they will refer you to the reseller, is in the event of a claim. I replied to the thread to explain why Despatch Bay had gone, so over and out. All the best. The point being, that, if you use resellers, the carriers will not talk to you and will force you to go through the reseller's customer service.
The carriers will also not talk to the recipient.
Login to your Despatch Bay account, then in the address bar of your browser type despatchbay . com / json / get-recipient-addressesDoes anyone know how to export the address book from Despatch Bay? We got close to 1000 addresses saved and need to move them to another shipper. Any help will be greatly appreciated. (Cant seem to find any guide on Desptach Bay website)!!

Thank you so much, it worked. What a life saver. Much appreciated!!Yes, you can visit the URL /json/get-recipient-addresses
This will give you all of your address book entries in a data format called JSON.
You can turn this into a CSV using a free online tool. Just search Google for "JSON to CSV converter".
I hope this helps.
