Does anyone have Onbuy experience?

We ran a 12 month trial with them last year, and it was an absolute waste of time, so we binned it.

If you speak directly with them, they'll tell you how good they are, but if you read the comments on this thread of the Amazon forums, you can get a handle for how they're perceived.

Waste of time

We started with them in 2018 in the clothing and apparel section most monthly orders we ever got was about 20

They used to have a deal where you only paid monthly subscription if your revenue was £500 or more that month, if it was less you didn’t pay the £19 a month only the per sale commission, we never paid a monthly fee and that promotion was scrapped earlier this year so we binned it

I do know some people do alright out of it but it depends on category and they are really heavily skewed towards price the cheaper the better

I have a couple of clients that use us to process Onbuy orders. But judging by the amount of exposure I see from the marketplace, the order numbers are low.

Does anyone have any idea how they are doing, any success stories and can point me at some recent stats?

We used them for a few years, decent orders overall.
Of course like any site its whether people are looking there for what you are selling and whether they see the product listing with your details as one of the sellers.

Last I looked they were the 4th biggest 3rd party sales site in the UK. Top one being amazon of course.

I've sold thousands of pounds worth of stuff on the site. I've not used it to purchase stuff.

Overall on a per sale basis we made more selling on OnBuy than we did on ebay for the same item.

I listed a few products with them a couple of years ago but not worth the hassle I'm afraid. They talk about being the fastest growing marketplace but that is easy if your sales are very low.
