Does anyone have any experience of using Zoho One?

Original Post:

You probably need to expand on what you want to do/achieve.

Basic CRM's should offer file sharing, however, my experience is that you say you want to do one or two things and end up really wanting 20 things+.

Fair enough - need to get a customer database that provides a single point of access to all records, files, history, and quotes but also allows you to send emails, reminders, links with a signing app etc. I know Zoho has several modules but the feedback seems to be that they don't integrate well.

I used a lot of CRM's over the years, these days I use a combination of Google sheets (the filter comes in incredibly useful) and the free version of Trello for when I'm assigning tasks to my staff, I have a card/column system that they just drag and drop along the process.

For what you're describing though, Asana or Monday sound like what you'll need. I used Asana (free) for many years but in the end found it overkill for what I need.

Edit: in fact it has just occurred to me, one of my clients who builds conservatories just signed up for this https://onsite7.co.uk/ I don't know what you do but may be what you're looking for?

I like Zoho but it's outdated compared to others out there.

Hubspot CRM is great but costly. There's a scale down version of Salesforce?

Like Graham, I also use Asana. I think that it works best with my business setup and being able to collaborate and use on my mobile is very important to me.

There's also Insightly and Really Simple Systems (RSS) that are great for low budgets, I find that Insightly is the better of the two.

Your question is a bit confusing as Zoho One is a huge suite of products. I assume you are talking about Zoho CRM?

It's probably Zoho's most popular product. You could combine this with Zoho creator (app building tool) to create a completely custom interface with workflows that suit your specific business needs. You would need some development knowledge or outsource this part.

I was a user for many years of Zoho books (accounting) and Zoho desk (support desk with ticketing system). These got the job done, no fancy features or fluffy graphics, just rock-solid support of business operations. If ever I need an integrated set of tools like those offered by Zoho, I will most likely go for Zoho One.

Zoho One is a user-friendly and affordable version of SAP for small businesses.
