Do you have to include an address in email marketing for a ecommerce business

Hi I'm trying to find out if you still have to include an mailing address in promotional emails in the UK. I know years ago I read you did but looking at lots of email I get lately this is rarely included, just wondered if someone here knew if it was still the case you have to by law include a mailing address.

It is my understanding that all business emails, whether marketing or transactional, must include full contact information for the business.
When the business is a Limited company it must include the company address as well as the registration details, etc.

As Ozzy says, you have to add it if you are a limited company.

If not limited and you don't add it, your credibility falls through the floor.

Also, it has to be a full geographic address, not a PO Box.

Actually, that might just be for website contact details for distance selling regs.
