Do companies exist which connect you to freelancers, who go door-to-door selling at convenience stores / off-licenses?

Hey guys!

I’m a partner in a new business, established last year. All is going well, but we aren’t at a stage yet where we can get into wholesalers, so we have been going door-to-door at local off licenses to get stocked in them. It’s going very well, but this is hindered by distance of course.

We’d love to be in shops in places further afield (we’re based in London), so I was wondering whether any companies existed for this purpose - where we could send stock to someone who could then go to local off licenses etc in their area, trying to sell them / get stocked within?

I used Agentbase for a business of mine a long time ago (~10 years), and they still seem to be around, so worth speaking to.

I don't know about the online bit - though suggest you follow @brucegreig 's advice

Also, look at the trade press - you may well find info on how to attract agents - the good ones will have an established 'round' (Non-compete products in similar environment)

They will also be very clear on their wants in terms of commission, back-up, marketing etc.

They will also need ongoing motivation to keep your product at the front of their portfolio..

Congratulations on your new business! Have you tried online solutions ? Like consider expanding your reach through online sales platforms. This can help you reach customers beyond your immediate geographic location.

Depending on your product, you could try listing on direct wholesale sites like Faire or CREOATE
