Distance Selling Regulations

The .gov site now says this:
The Brexit transition period has ended and new rules on distance selling now apply. This page is currently out of date.

It doesn't say what/where the new rules are!

Anyone know more?

I suspect that they are referring to VAT and duty and the removal of the £15 lower limit. It only applies if you are shipping to consumers from outside the UK

Now we're not in the EU wouldn't it be the same rules as when we send to the rest of the world

I noticed this change a few days ago.
I referee back to these rules if I get an awkward customer, but couldn't see any obvious changes. I assumed it was more of a general message for all the regulations.

We brought all the EU regulations into UK law a while back - 2019? that were current at the time.
So there was continuity and parliament didn't have to rewrite half the laws immediately.

So unless something has been changed in law since, presume its still applicable.

The distance selling regulations were replaced by the consumer contracts regulations...

I get the one.entation of EU rules, but why does the Government website say things have changed, but don't say what. I didn't know that the employment of clairvoyants was an implication of Brexit - maybe seances are now tax deductible?
