Hi all,
I have had a dormant company for a few years which was struck off by companies house a couple days ago.
I subsequently received an email from a bank to say that company had been dissolved and the funds in the bank would now be transferred to the crown. There was c. £7,000 in the account. I don't want the company to be reinstated particularly, as it wasn't being used for anything and would sit there as it has, however don't want to not be able to access those funds and gift it to the crown. Is there any other way to go about accessing those funds apart from sending the £100 fee to companies house to reinstate it to get access back to the account and then shut the company down right after again?
Thank you
