Disappearing Google Reviews is Not a Bug - It's a Filter

So I browsed many forum posts and blogs in previous few days when my Google business reviews disappeared.
People claimed that it is a bug, But it is not.
Google has introduced a filter to get rid of the fake reviews and fake listings.

if you are posting review from a VPN IP it will disappear after two or three days.

And if you are posting multiple reviews from a single IP all will disappear.

Solution : The best is you tell your client to get reviews from customers give them a short url and tell them to give customers a discount if they post a review.

P.S. The Reviews i was getting from customer didn't get removed and all others fake one's got removed.

So just follow ethical practice!?

Thanks for the insider scoop!o_O
I won't Call it an insider scoop but it's just a conclusion i made after reading every comment on every post that i visited for the same topic.
Everyone who was getting reviews from legit customers and from the same regional IP that the business is in.. didn't suffer.
Only those who used the fake methods to get the reviews are suffering.

The problem is they are not getting removed from your account contribution, they are still in my contribution but not showing in the GMB page where i posted them.

You post fake reviews and wonder why they get removed?

Not exactly sure what point you are trying to make here.

They never got removed in the past seven months .. but after 12 June Update they started disappearing and everyone started posting in forums and everywhere. There was no post in here related to the topic so I made one in hopes that this thread will rank in "Disappearing Google Reviews Bug" and my thread will get popularity :)

It's sort of making you look a little naive. Google is always looking to improve its algo. It was only a matter of time before they caught up with this.

One wonders why you ever thought creating fake reviews was a good idea.

And there is no post here relating to the topic because members here try to do things correctly. There have been threads about fake reviews - but the originators got knocked down.

I started doing fake reviews, as I saw some business pages getting ranked higher than mine just because of the number of reviews they had. They were not updating anything in their GMB and still they were higher in ranks than me. And few of my clients are doctors who are lazy AF to do anything, so I can't make them to ask their customers "post a review". That's why i started posting fake reviews to test if I can get ranked higher. I did the GEO image tagging + keywords name of the image with review (Got Results) and then boom google came and shaat on my face. However ranking is still there though.

Yeah man people were pretty pissed about the fake listings ranking and google has taken a step to remove them all.
Is that the same fake listings that you were creating?
