Design portfolio - should I add testimonials?

Hi there,

I am currently putting together a portfolio of my web design and graphic design work in the form of a printed booklet.

I wanted to ask feedback on whether or not to include some testimonials in my portfolio next to some of my work, or should it purely be details about my work?

Any suggestions would be great!

Yes I think testimonials are good idea as long as they are genuine and short.

Also worth including case studies. Try and build a mix across sectors and product types. Also different sizes and structures of organisations.

Definitely include testimonials wherever possible! Your design work will speak for itself in terms of tone, quality, style etc., but a testimonial gives people a clear sense of what it'd be like to work with you on a project. It's a great way to build trust.

Testimonials are a great thing. It shows that people are happy with your work and gives an emotional response by your clients to working with you.
