Deliveroo & ubereats comm

Given the sky high commission rates I'm paying, 30% ex vat to deliveroo and 35% ubereats, and their unwillingness to negotiate, I wonder what other independents in the area are paying and whether they managed to negotiate a lower %?

I've just signed up to ubereats but on deliveroo we're averaging 3500-4000 sales pw over c.200 orders. We're in the north west london area.

Any other figures and experiences out there?

I have not heard much of a negotiation going on but I do know of people like reddragontakeaway.com who have left all of them altogether and now get 100% of orders directly, without impact to their business.
