    I looked at hundreds before I chose the one I have now. Check out www.datemill.com their old script was good but they have just launched their new script, it went public a week ago. If you want to have a look at the script in action look at www.country-couples.co.uk that is the basic script that you buy, as mine is currently at the designers, as soon as it launches just check out the link again to see what can be done with it.

    If you are interested in finding out more email Dan at [email protected] and say Sally recommended them but tell him it is the new Etano script you are interested in. They are doing addons for forums & IM in the next few weeks. You get full access to the script and the admin panel is brilliant (even I can understand it).

    This is a good analogy for dating systems too. If you want to meet that special person you don't go into an empty pub that no-one else goes to, however nice that pub might be.

    The same issue should be considered for starting a dating site. Even the best dating software will fail if you don't get the initial interest and sign-up, and generally you wont get this unless you have people already registered in the website (a chicken and egg problem), or you find a good niche or spend a lot of time and money on marketing.

    The only dating solution that can address this issue of existing members (i.e. the busy pub) is not dating software alone, but a dating system that provides existing members. There is a white-label hosted managed solution from www.diy-dating.com that does allow you to start your own dating website and have existing members from day one.

    I don't know. I'm merely passing on what the site says, and it does say there are pre-existing contacts and the system is based on a scheme of shared contacts. I'm also guessing that there will be people who register with false details just to browse. I don't know whether you can opt in or opt out of the shared part.

    Okay thanks, was just curious as most of these things provide 'thousands of profiles' but of course there is no-one at the other end to receive your email. Will do some searching and see what I can find about them.

    Of course no Software company is perfect, but abk-soft is close to strive to satisfy the customers continuously. I have worked with several companies, and one of my biggest thing is privacy. ABK does a great job protecting the customers urls, identity, or domain names. For this reason, I intend to stay with ABK software for years to come. Their designers can be compared to some of the best designers in the WORLD. The MIXER is obviously a proof of their design skills. The programmers are amazing. I had to be patient during my unique design phase, but I’m glad I waited patiently. Like my dad always said, “the more patient dog gets the fattest bone for dinner”… I’m happy with my design and I’ll continue to work with ABK to improve my site. You guys rock.

    I am just an ordinary businessman trying my luck running a dating site and know absolutely nothing about computer programming language, not to mention the more specific php or asp or whatever… .I chose ABKSoft’s AbleDating upon not only knowing its rich and efficient features but far more important was upon finding the most welcoming and responsive pre-sale support through Skype chat. Thought then “these are the guys I should be working with and source my software from”, and now it has proven to be the right choice for me.
    Their tech-support team are always on-the-go and I have been made assured that for each trouble I present to them someone is working (and thinking) hard to solve it for me. Some solution come out fast. And some take longer: this is normal for those who expect and value quality results.
    After having my ABKSoft’s scripts installed and running, I did several “window shopping” to some other so called community/dating scripts providers, and I count ABKSoft’s AbleDating to be the most efficient one with regards to cost, functionality, and richness. It might not be the “best” in the industry since “best” is a relative term to judge.
    ABKSoft’s scripts are not for those who only value things by the look from the outside. Those kind of people have the lowest appreciation of quality!
    Why not those “free” or “no-cost” scripts? Well, take a closer look: they are not really free. You will pay with your “opportunity cost” since you will spend more of your precious time dealing with those “free” scripts. Imagine how much money or quality life you trade with long hours (even days, even months) trying to get your “free” scripts up and running without hassle. Imagine how many people you provide with disappointment instead of satisfaction and fun. Imagine how deep you will dive into “un”popularity. I spent a relatively short time to get my AbleDating2.4 up and running without a hassle and according to my requirements, so I can spend more time with my other money-making business and, most importantly, my family.
    With ABKSoft’s scripts, I am more confident about the potential of the money coming in to me. ABKSoft’s scripts are “a hidden treasure”. I should call this last one-month chapter of my life as “Discovering a Hidden Treasure”.
    ABKSoft is practicing well the most difficult job ever: maintaining customers and I think they have the most potential of maintaining their excellent service level to the future ahead.

    ABK-Soft is one of the most unique and modern dating scripts i have seen. After searching the web and talking to many people i came across Able Dating and thought, this script is too good to be true. For months i spoke to the support team and tried to find a catch on why the script was so cheap before i purchased it. The support team were very professional and willing to answer any questions, so i purchased the script and i have been very pleased ever since.
    ABK-Soft have a professional engineering and support team. Always willing to help out with any issues or concerns that may arise. Since purchasing the script i have had no major issues and i love the ease of working in the admin panel when making any changes.

    Dear Wilfed,

    OSDate is a one of the very few decent dating softwares we have used for many of our clients who run quite sophisticated dating sites. It comes free as well, you will find it on the net.
