Hi,

Anyone used Crowdcube to invest or raise funds? Just started to use it and its seems like a great idea.

It's a good system IMHO. When I used it we didn't raise the money we wanted (not RedEvo) but the exposure didn't do us any harm. The guys who run it are switched on.

We're raising funds. I don't think the site has enough investors registered yet for many companies to raise their targets but its a start. I hope the site continues to grow.

I'm struggling to see how it works. Who owns your company afterwards? Does every investor get a share (and therefore does a lawyer / accountant have to sort that out for you?)?

What happens if you fail and your business is not successful?

It's all on the site and they've already secured significant funding for several companies including the world's largest crowd fund of around £1m. Like any investment if the company goes pop you lose your money :)

Did you still have to pay anything even though you didn't raise the total amount?
