Hello good people,

I am looking for a CRM like Zoho but not zoho that allows me to interrogate the information it holds by running reports and workflow analysis.
Ideally it would have and accounting software and invoicing capabilities.
does any one know of a good one that is relatively cheap and by cheap I mean free. :p

any ideas??

So you're looking for something that goes past basic CRM features.

If you're going to go this route, I suggest you get something that integrates the additional needs, instead of resorting to multiple applications, as this results in a load of issues (i.e. lack of integration = inefficient workflows, double entry, high monthly costs). Also, I doubt you can find what you're looking for for absolutely free. Most vendors that do offer such packages at no price are doing so as a sales pitch and leave out important features or give little support, with hopes that by your frustration you will end up paying up for the stuff you need.

There are integrated solutions that do pretty much exactly what you want besides Zoho, but like I said, they're not free. An example is WORKetc, which combines a variety of business management tools and integrates them at the core, allowing for complete business management from one system - and in depth reporting on all functions throughout. It combines CRM, projects, billing (invoicing, expenses, product lists, subscriptions, checkout options, etc), timesheets, email marketing, help desk support, and collaboration features. They are also in the midst of a Google apps integration, and have released a gmail gadget and I think they are releasing google docs integration soon as well.

Just a list of possibles in the Open Source environment. It has been a weak area in some instances as the term Open Source has been diluted by companies trying to be clever in marketing a free solution that isn't but in my order of preference the better ones are:

vtiger.com
opencrx.org
phpbms.org
tine20.org
sugarcrm.com

Good luck!

For me, i think vtiger is better than the other.

But personally, i use TigerPro CRM the pro version of vtiger and i'm not desappointed about it.

Check it : tigerpro-crm.com

Yes, but for one version you have ALL ! i think it's why it's less than the other.

I'm curious and i asked to my boss why he choose that...

My boss says to me : For the price of 1 telephone subscription you'v got a complete solution !

We use Junari CRM, after the guy answered me on a similar post.

Really happy with the solution, works great.
