I am in my final year in university and about to start my final year project.
I want to do something about the credit crunch or the subprime market.
Can someone please help me with any suggestion of a topic and objectives. thank you.

You could look at credit rating agencies and their role in categorising large amounts of sub-prime debts as AAA rated!

If I was in your position I would be interested in a study which predicts what the UK business profile will look like at the end of this recession, i think drawing parrallels (SP?) between the 1980's and the manufacturing industry, and this recession and the retail industry.

1980's recessions impact on manufacturing was not a dent, or a dip, but something that resulted in a permanent fundamental change to the whole manufacturing industry across the whole of the UK.

I feel that this recession is likely to do similar for the retail sector. But what the eventual outcome will be, at present i'm not quite sure.
