Cost of courier for 25l water delivery..

Best priced courier to ship 25 litre containers of water (de-ionised water)?

I've tried speaking to a few, some will ship liquids in this volume, some won't - but all are very expensive and won't give indicative volume discounts.

Has anyone had any luck shipping liquid containers of this weight at a decent price in the UK?

And in general, what are online sellers that send out 500+ deliveries a month currently paying for up to 25kg next day/48hr service for general goods, not necessarily liquids...?

I’ve not shipped any liquids of that weight myself, but I recently had 100L of paint from B&Q delivered by a company called DX, have you tried them?

Is that 1 x 25 litre container or 25 x 1 ltr containers

I would look at pallet companies for that, as probably to big and awkward for normal couriers to deliver, may be size and weight are the problem rather than liquids

Companies wont be sending out their assets all over the country for nothing .

In what way am I asking too much? I'm just trying to establish what a competitive price is for 25kg deliveries these days, and which couriers do accept water.

Plainly it's possible, Amazon will handle the fulfilment including delivery for £8.84 providing the container copes with their drop tests, which it does. I would however ideally prefer to handle fulfilment in house hence trying to track down a suitable courier, ideally who will deliver the containers at £10 or less and a reasonable discount for multiple containers to a single recipient.

ParcelForce can send up to 30kg next day for about £5.50. Max dimensions 1.1m x 0.7m for that kind of price, there's surcharges above this. I'm not sure where they stand on liquids.

DX tend to be used for larger deliveries by a lot of companies.

I just checked and sadly they have a 5 litre limit per container. A real shame as the cost you suggest they will charge would be ideal - about what I hoped based on a reasonable volume.

May I ask where you ordered the water from? I might put an order in myself to explore their process start to finish..

DPD are about £7 plus VAT plus this and that on contract and I don't know if they do bottles but their weight is 30kg.
