KGB, Hodorkovsky... What else, people?
90th are the period in Russia when there was no corruption at all due to coplete absense of law, at that period the law was directly associated to guns. Even in Moscow shots were heard every single evening and night though I lived in a calm place.
What do you people understand under "corruption"? Money paid for free services in a state institution (including medicine) is a norm. Many state officials take big money for illegal operations, but they go to jail for it like everywhere else in the world.
Hodorkovsky bagan to steal from the people long ago and the charges are not false otherwise if one can prove them to be false believe me you are a very rich man just go to the lawer of Mikhail and say: I know how to get'im out of jail for, say, only half million dollars. Trust me you will have the money tomorrow.
Please, stop judge my country by stupid movies!!!

Most of my clients are Russian, they buy for themselves and their small shops, i think the manufacturing business of Russia is not so development, they buy from me a lot goods for daily use, clothes, shoes, electric products, and something very usual small, one of my clients even though bought a sink ever. so in fact, Russia is a big market for me. our company even though has made a websit for Russian.

You can really fight corruption in Russia :) so one of the options is to hire a local representative for your company (may be hiring them on a commission only basis)

You need somebody with the local knowledge to liaise on your behalf, otherwise local government can really make life difficult for you
