TBH I have no idea about corruption in Russia
A lot of Cypriots have invested in Russia: banking, construction and services. These companies can afford a due diligence on a foreign market. Plus these industries are more straightforward to get into.
In my business we could not identify the correct partners to enter the Russian market. We know it is potentially a huge market. Instead we are entering the UK market. Easier to perform market analysis, communication etc.
