Convert 6th Generation Laptop into 7th Generation board

Hello friends, i am having 6th generation core i5 laptop, i want to convert it into core i7 7th Generation.
is this possible to convert old generation into new one.
Can anybody help me plz....!

Don't bother the CPU is more than likely soldered onto the mainboard and the real world performance gains between i5 to i7 are too small. Sell the laptop and buy a newer one it will be cheaper.

Not possible the mainboards need to be swapped. That would cost more than a new laptop.

Completely agree. Updates you can do to many laptops which can make considerable difference include more memory and changing the hard drive to a SSD drive. The SSD drive in particular can be a much much better upgrade than a processor upgrade.

if you believe all the marketing and that there is any real world difference between a 6th nd 7th gen do a business lease on laptops and swap them over every 18 month for new one.
