Company Logos in JPEG, PNG, SVG & ICO

I have been reviewing our online presence and there are some areas I need to work on.

First job on the list is obtain updated logo files with transparent backgrounds in JPEG, PNG, SVG & ICO.

Can anyone recommend a good UK provider of such services?

We updated our logos 8 years ago and then again 4 years ago and I found the companies distant, slow, unapproachable and inflexible back then, so am hoping to find a better supplier.

I also need to understand about the size of the image. I find the size of our current logo images is inflexible when importing into social media, email footers and website development pages.

Many thanks for reading this.

jpeg doesn't have a transparent background. Which is why people use png. However the preferred format is now webp.

There are loads of online SVG and ICO converters Google is your friend here. But not really sure why you need these.

Top results in Google:

As to size, create a whole range of logo sizes and use the appropriate one when needed. 600px wide all the way down to 50px will suffice.

Are you looking for someone to design some logos or to convert existing ones to that with a transparent background?
The latter can be achieved with some online converters as @fisicx suggests. In my experience you need png files and they must have that chequered background signifying the transparency. If it's the former then I've used a freelancer graphic designer who has been very good and helpful.

Thanks fisicx and Pi Daybooks and to clarify I don't need any design work. Our logo is a simple ellipse with our name in it and it has been created in Excel and Word for all our documents and reports and letters.
The converters that fisicx has provided links for need a PNG file. So how do I get a PNG file from a shape in Excel or Word? I seem to be unable to save the Excel shape object as a file in itself.

I've discovered I can save an Excel shape as a PNG!
I don't think there was the option to do that when I was last looking at logo upgrades 4 years ago.
Convertio is a really good website.
    Thanks fisicx.
Make sure your image sits on the transparent background when saving to PNG. Otherwise you may find you have a white background rather than a transparent one. I am no expert but have found that PNG supports transparency but the image still needs to sit on that chequered background to achieve the transparency. The converters should switch any actual background to the transparent one. The chequered background giving transparency is usually visible in Photoshop.

You get around a variety of threads don't you! :)

After creating the PNGs I found MS Paint a bit too difficult for generating the transparent background so in the end I went for a £1.99 subscription to Pixio for 14 days and am now the proud owner of a transparent PNG.

@fisicx : the purpose of the ICO is for a Favicon
