Hi,

just joined up after spending most of this afternoon reading threads on here and finding these forums really useful.

Anyway, we are just starting our own limited company selling printing systems (b2b). My wife and I are both company directors, we will be starting from home with me full time and my wife part time. If things take off as we hope we will be progressing to a small unit in 6-12 months and employeeing 1-2 people in years 2-3.

Just thinking about my title for business cards, MD sounds pompous  given its just the 2 of us working from home initially.

Given that I will be driving sales as my main responsibility Sales Director or Sales Manager sounds more appropriate.

What do you guys think re. a title and are there any rules I need to be aware of for business card titles for ltd company directors ?

Thanks in advance :)

welcome to the forum.

who knows that there are only 2 of you?

If MD may seem a little pretentious, SD or Commercial Director may be better.
