Just wanted to come onto here and say 'Hi'. We're a relatively new business and very new to this forum so still finding my way around.
We offer virtual business support - covering all the tasks that you'd expect a very good PA to be able to carry out; so all the usual things like diary management and setting up meetings, right through to support on marketing projects, copywriting and handling social media presence.
We aim our service mainly at entrepreneurs and sole traders and it's our aim to work alongside them to make their businesses more efficient and to give them space to think more strategically.
My personal background is in administration and project management. I've worked as PA to CEO and Board level Directors and as such have gained a really good insight into best practice and the functioning of an organisation.

Hi All,
My name is James Burns, I own a company called JBC Contract Acquisitions Ltd which I set up just after Christmas. The original aim of the company was to allow me to subcontract my services out as a HGV driver with the possibility of developing various business ideas that my partner and I have.(Not logistics based.)
I now find myself having to develop ideas and research them to establish viability like my life depends on it.( Which it does I guess.) My main focus at the moment is developing a small business administration system/guide for people new to self employment. I'm trying to put together a system/package that allows people with no knowledge and limited understanding a way to organise their business and explain the pitfalls of certain business models whilst allowing them to "hit the ground running" as far as setting up a usable model for their own business....... This is not aimed at larger organisations, more like subcontractors who don't want to work under an umbrella company, small start ups and newly self employed.
I am interested in networking, discussions about business organisation, tax affairs and dealing with HMRC and anything that may help my business grow.

I've bought a few. Ratedpeople's site is really good - really user friendly. The problem is the crippling costs of leads, I don't really use it so much now due to this. Five jobs can cost you over £100 just to be one of three people going to quote for a job that the customer may or may not want completed. Sometimes they just have nothing better to do than give the site a go.

People over estimate what they can earn in the first year so they give up, hence why people probably say they spend more than they earn but people also under estimate what they can earn in the following years. They also offer money back guarantees so the only risk of loss is time. There are various reasons why this is not a pyramid scheme plus the fact they also illegal. I'm not going to explain myself but all I can say is that it's Woking for me and thousands of other people. I have other businesses as do a lot of others and yes I was the most sceptical person out there when we were introduced to it but I picked the company apart and found that's its a rock solid partner. There is always negatives on the Internet but if you're open minded then maybe we can have a chat about it
