Hi,

Can anybody advise of any Programming / Coding sites that can give quotes based on what you ask of them?

I do know there are some out there, just don't know what their called, or what to google.

Well, yes it is, but my form is long and has many inputs that I didn't include, (dropdowns, checkboxes etc), so it's just a mamoth task for me.

Because, as you know, I am having problems with it no matter what I did!

Doesn't help that I'm no competent coder!

So I am not so sure, it would be a good idea, as I probably would't know how to customize it!?!

Click send without entering anything to see the error messages. Then put abc in the telephone field, bob in the email field and 99 in the sum to see the contextual error messages.

Adding dropdowns and check lists and additional fields is easy. Just tell me what you need. email via the sites in my sig.

fisicx, thanks for your kind offers, that example you showed me is good, give yourself a pat on the back. (perhaps we can work some deal).

What I want in total I think is custom, I have the HTML form, I just need validation & sanitising, preferably PHP & Javascript. The order form results to go to my email.

It is frustrating, as without said, I can't move on with my website i'm creating for obvious reasons... spam and posible bad input.

You are making like too complicated for yourself. There is no need for any JS. All you need is the form and some php validation. Once the form gets processed and emailed off to you then you can send the user to a thank-you page.

Creating the form is the easy bit. I could build you a complex form with every possible variant of input in under an hour. The thing that takes the time is the validation (as you have discovered).

As I said, send me an email and I'll do it for you. Won't cost you a penny.

PS: should also point out that there are three levels of spam protection and its own style sheet

It was the first time i ever used it so not sure if this is the norm. Don't hold me to it i am just letting you know what my experience was.

I had to contact paypal to recover my money, to which i got back

Yep that is unfortunate. I have used quite a few freelancers from odesk.com and never had a problem.

Bad guys are always present in every field, mostly they target new entrants. Your fate that you ran in someone similar.
Its better to go through proper websites like ELance and ODesk, you can definitely get robbed on these sites too but the chances are far lower than paying someone via PayPal without a track record.
On these sites people know that once someone will give them a negative ranking, getting more work in future will be difficult. And in many cases these websites sack contractor accounts too.
