Clothing brand

Hi all,

This is my first post here, and I’m looking for some thoughts and feedback. I own a sports clothing brand that I started in 2018, though it’s not based in the UK. The brand is well-recognized locally and has a loyal customer base—almost everyone buys more than once.

Currently, the annual turnover is around 400k euros, with a profit margin of 25–30%. Over the last four years, the brand has been growing steadily, adding 50–100k euros to its turnover each year. In general, everything is going well.

I work with other companies for tasks such as web development/maintenance, paid ads, and photoshoots. However, I still feel like a "one-man army," which causes me some stress that I’d like to reduce. Additionally, the scaling of the business isn’t progressing as quickly as I’d like.

I believe I might need help but am not entirely sure in what areas or how to find the right people. This could range from franchising in another country, opening physical stores, stocking products in other stores, or even offering shares in the company.

I have many ideas on how to optimize profits, increase turnover, and grow the business on my own, but if I were to bring someone else on board, I’m unsure where to start looking.

Where and how do you advertise your clothing range

How are you marketing your goods/company
Where are the clothes made and it what quantities, in the UK there are plenty of small companies that will make small numbers of garments (cut and sew) if you can provide the design and materials, maybe you have the same local to you, with the great advantage of being local you can control quality more easily

Paid ads (Facebook, google, email marketing) and influencers.

The brand is marketed as high-quality sportswear, especially for the gym, but I also have a lifestyle range.

The clothes are made locally and in China. As I mentioned, I am not UK-based, but no EU country can compete with China in terms of quality, variety of materials, and accessories, so i dont have any issues with the quality.

I'm guessing your aiming at a very niche market like this company that I love and it is mostly for me due to their consistent quality

I work within a company called Sales Geek, based in Lancashire but winning awards all over the place and we have just gone into the US and India. Basically sales directors and sales trainers for hire and we parachute them into businesses of all shapes and sizes for a certain amount of time per month. We support some huge businesses (we started working with Royal Mail last year for example) but also lots of very small ones, giving them access to talent they iust couldn't afford otherwise.

If you would like a chat with someone, message me and I will connect you with the right person. They would be happy to have a chat (no obligation).
