Chrome

I have just down loaded google's chrome, seems to be ok. Does anybody else use it ?

What do you think of it? I can't make my mind up as to if it is faster or not.

I only really use it for browser testing websites but it seems pretty nice, very similar to safari and it always seems fast compared to IE7.

I have set Chrome as my default browser now because is is much faster than IE7. I would use FF, but I am niggled by the amount of time it needs to start up and the number of updates it needs. Chrome appears to be a good basic browser. I am getting a few problems with Chrome and Kaspersky on my wife's laptop though, so she doesn't rate it much ;-)

Until chrome offers all the extension and other useful tools that FF does it's not going to set the word alight. Still better than using IE though.

ive been on mobile broadband for the past week, and chrome handles the smaller bandwidth available that explorer or firefox.

chrome is also useful for testing how my sites look so i quite like chrome.

I've also used chrome. it's not bad. but I'm quite comfortable with firefox than any other browser. FF also provide different add-ons facilities.

I use it purely for a surfing tool when I'm not at work, it's great for search and bookmarking. But agree with the others, I use FF at work for all the add-ons.

If you haven’t heard, Google is developing extensions for its Chrome browser. The good news, WOT (Web of Trust) is listed in the top 15 add-ons being offered by Google Chrome.

Google hasn’t announced a release date yet, but I am sure it will be soon.

Chrome is a good web browser but I only use it for testing purpose.
